We've seen greater stability and traffic throughput since the upgrade, meaning our customers' websites and web-based applicaitons will always be available and load quickly.

]]> Wed, 31 Aug 2011 17:48:00 EDT Server Status http://www.hawkinscomputerservices.com/news/server-status/ Due to the increased load on our servers during the summer months and our growth over the past year, we've begun to experience some issues with our primary web server. We've had about an hour of downtime over the past couple of weeks, and many users were experiencing very slow loading of RM4 this morning.

We've worked with our dedicated hosting provider to solve these problems, and we've implemented numerous optimizations to the server, the software and several of our high-traffic websites to prevent this from happening again. We're also looking into upgrading or adding additional servers if necessary to provide fast, reliable service for everyone.
